Start to finish - downloading Respondus and taking a test for Mac

REQUIREMENTS:

Respondus will only work for systems with OS 10.10 and higher.

Check your Operating System: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT201260  

1. Go to the Respondus website: 

https://www.respondus.com/lockdown/download.php?id=563150808 

2. Click Install Now: 

3. Lockdown Browser will download: 

4. Go to your Finder and click on the install: 

5. Continue with the install wizard: 

a. Approve the Respondus download:

b. Agree to the terms and conditions:

c. Click install:

6. Lockdown Browser will appear in your applications: 

7. Go to your Moodle course ON A REGULAR BROWSER SUCH AS CHROME OR SAFARI and choose the test that says "Requires Respondus Lockdown Browser":

8. Click Launch Lockdown Browser: 

9. Open Lockdown Browser: 

10. The Lockdown Browser will now launch. You must complete the test in the Lockdown Browser. When you have submitted your test, exit out of the browser.
